>>20749028In the west, gaming is the main content that brings in viewers (and therefore subs). Pomu, at debut, was definitely not a gamer. Zatsudans, drawing, Duolingo, Tetris, Zelda ALTTP - nothing interesting to most westerners. Meanwhile, Elira was doing buff popular games like Genshin, There Is No Game, Superlimital, and had some JP zatsudans for JP sub buff. And Finana had Resident Evil, lots of Genshin where she whaled, and coomerbait clips. So, at debut (and for a couple of months after) her content was the least appealing to the wider western audience.
Plus, as others have said, her month-long surgery hiatus severely hurt her growth. Her sub growth slowed to a crawl and she fell out of favor with the algo (if she was even in it to begin with - she was originally denied monetization, which is a bad sign in regards to algo favor).
Additionally, unlike the other two, Pomu was still working a day job up until December, so she wasn't able to focus as much on her streaming as she would have liked. Didn't have time for projects, covers, streams had to be shorter, etc.
However, ever since quitting her job, Pomu has started to rally back, with her sub growth rate rising, live view count staying strong, etc. She's been releasing covers, is working on an ori-song, has time to do sponsored content, working on other projects, and has time to try and focus on gaming content. I just hope she doesn't work herself into the ground, especially since she's in the middle of moving.
