But so far what is undeniable is that they have had improved production quality, a more uniform and improved editing standards and staff, new models all over the place, debuted two brand new vtubers, and have made some inroads with advertisers. In 2 months they've done a lot.

I've often been curious about what benefits Vtubers receive as being part of VShojo. Dental? Medical? Shared profits? Definitely not viewership as they did fine as independents.

I know they get some legal protections. The company can hire lawyers to represent the girls as a whole or individually if needed. For non-EN groups, the companies are the ones who speak with game developers for streaming rights.

Derailing, but what does Yagoo do for Hololive talents?
I always imagines he was one of the developers of their VR tracking software.
Looking at his channel videos, it looks like he has a hand in development.

I dunno about the viewers part. Nyanners is up to regularly 6k viewers per stream, Mousey is up to about 5k (and had over 8k watching her birthday), they're all up, even Zen, and Froot and Hime debuted to big audiences (Hime had 18k watching her debut at its height before settling down to about 12k by the end). I think the Vshojo crowd has grown and / or amalgamated into a "vshojo audience" rather than just a Zen or Mousey or Melody audience, but there are some people who still won't cross pollinate.

Pretty much. I would imagine most of it is closer to the traditional streamer talent agency rather than existing vtuber companies, which means that most of it is just boring behinds the scene shit that no one will ever know about. Sponsorships, DMCAs, reviewing legal terms, negotiating contracts, handling business inquiries, PR, dealing with contractors, etc.

Looking at Twitch Tracker every single one of them has a gigantic boost in average viewers, followers, page views, and such from about October to the current day. Except Melody, but her numbers started strong and just never dropped off.

Technically i started watching them because of VShojo. Someone i know saw a VShojo promotion and they got addicted and they linked me one of the streams. Now i watch all of them including the ones not in VShojo so they gotta be doing something right.

Sponsorship from publishers/companies that don't care. They exist beyond Fakku and hentai providers, and as long as vshoujo is open about being R18 they shouldn't have bad blood.

He helped develop a VR ping pong game and other VR / AR tech when Cover was a small tech company. Now he's in charge of making sure his idol agency doesn't crash and burn. He's most likely busy as shit with meetings involving investors, partnerships, manager reports etc standard CEO shit. Cover provides the 3D tech, models, promotion, managerial staff, sponsorships, and other behind the scene shit so that the talents can focus on streaming / content creation.
