How could they have not caught it right? Well, we know they test their models with other people so maybe Roberu's model worked perfectly for the human they were calibrating it for but as soon as Roberu showed up and they strapped his trackers "Oh shit, his arms are longer than we thought" and it all went to shit.
They can mitigate the effect by taking good measurements of Ame and working around the model a bit more but it will never be perfect. Of anything the trick is having less clothing which is what makes the effect more noticeable, this is why a lot of girls get their shoulder's exposed or exposed arms. But like i said, that won't make it perfect, only post editing would fix it.
