>>20788019That image is sad and it's why I open a bunch of <50 and generally <30 viewer streams of vtubers I find and sub to. Even one person saying good luck or hoping they have fun today might help them out.
Vtubers have to manage their expectations though, realistically most streamers let alone vtubers aren't gonna make it 'big', they have to just be doing it because they enjoy doing it and are having fun.
Not even to do with talent, you see great artist vtubers who get like 100 views and aren't growing that much, you see good singers <100 and <50 views, chuubas with amazing thumbnail art and friendly nice personalities, but the market is just completely overflowing and most people won't find you in the first place let alone anything beyond that.
The ones that keep saying they're gonna quit or asking for more donations and stuff really bring down the atmosphere and make their viewers feel guilty and bad, when what they want is to feel happy and cheer on their vtubers.
The vtubers like that where their fanbase feels more like guilted abused partners really stunt any growth and lose more of their viewers. If some girl can stream to like 1-3 people and be upbeat, happy, and try her best there's no excuse for other people, and because of that if I see them live i'll open their stream for a bit even if I can't watch or have other shit to do
The right side of the image is not accurate though, vtuber audiences are happy for you to literally do anything, even play dogshit fucking apex, they're easy to please
