That was her coping with the fact she was raped by that teacher, right? She even said he was fired in the next couple of days for molesting a female student. I mean if she was cleaning the gym at night, the lights would have been on so he definitely knew she was there. The story just doesn't make sense.
It was totally a story she made up to compartmentalize her own trauma. This zombie was raped and can't come to terms with it so she made some bullshit up about a ghost saving her.
