Nigger JP Gen 1, 2 and 3 had good design all around. It's only afterwards that design started declining hard for some reason despite Cover becoming massively popular, and even then you can see how every gen is becoming worse than the last, see holomyth vs council.

I like the designs, but just visually I couldn't figure out what left and right were. Middle I thought maybe was a jellyfish. After looking them up, yeah, I can see the one on the right being some kinda futuristic blacksmith. The one on the left could be anything though.

considering the theme, they could've done a lot more with her design, ya. Hammer looks too flimsy for blacksmithing, the ingot-shaped earring is cringe, the metal samples are cringe, the design doesn't have defined muscles literally anywhere, the goggles are glorified sunglasses of the highest degree, attire is entirely inappropriate for the job, no ponytail. What's even the fucking point. I'm not into muscle girls but it's something that's popular with some, and it is possible to make a sexy blacksmith, if that's what they wanted to go for. Maybe I lack vision and there's some lore that's meant to correct for these shortcomings. As it stands now, it just seems like a missed opportunity.

I think there's plenty of interesting ideas but I agree that they don't compliment the "blacksmith" theme, isn't that design from the Devil Survivor/Cyber Sleuth artist? Maybe the guy had his own idea of vtuber but got a theme to follow so he had to adapt his original idea to fit the blacksmith theme instead of simply creating a muscled barbarian.

Middle one is creative and cute, and I don't get why people are hating it so much. I can see the hair having a similar problem to Anya's though where it ends up blocking whoever she's collabing with

The one on the right looks fine in OP's image, but has an awkward pinhead in the actual 2D full body art and is going to be stuck on the Sana/Lui level

It's a great homage to that one famous japanese painting.

Gray haired girl looks very derivative though.
Doesn't stand out much when her design is basically a fusion of Fubuki and Noel.

Blacksmith girl COULD have been great.
The outfit is good, but the random tools cluttering her design distract from it.
