Design =/= Artstyle. IRyS has a great design; the problem is in the style used to render that design. And even then it's not that the style is inherently bad, it's just very poorly suited for rigging and vtubing. Same design, different artist/artstyle would be perfection.

the blue hair bitch (i forgot name) is too over-designed so we're probably not going to see as much fan art of her because there are too many complicated details to draw her and it doesn't even look good enough to justify the effort. Simple but good designs like gura or the other holo members are perfect because it's not simple enough to be some generic anime whore design but its also not too complicated so artists won't have a difficult time making fan art and lewds.
