>>21249430But Gura didn't maintain her peak sub growth. It slowed down considerably over her career. She had a massive boost for the first 3 or 4 months that gradually slowed. She's doing well because he initial sub growth was massive. She hit a million in the first month or something.
Vox isn't anywhere close to that level of growth. And to think he will maintain this level of peak growth when even Gura couldn't throughout the first year I think is fantasy thinking.
>>21249456We do though. Hololive tells us how much they stock and when they have sold out. Thus we know how much they have sold. It's not a difficult equation. The amount hololive draws in through merch absolutely dwarfs their superchat income. Do you even know how much they made during holofes? It was obscene.
>do some repsNot an argument.
>for an algorithmNo it's the most important metric on youtube. Even ccv isn't as important as subs and views on videos because youtube just doesn't measure that as an important statistic. Subs are a direct show of whether a talent is popular compared to views which show if a specific video is popular. Ccv should be factored in somewhere but really isn't at the moment.
>>21249592Sure. But Gura's initial growth for Vox's time was in the tens of thousands of subs a day. Going down to 3k now is because of her huge growth as the most popular vtuber at the moment. Vox is currently at his peak and you're expecting too much of him to carry 2k subs a day in 8 months time. I just don't think that's going to happen.
