People spent the first year of myth obsessing over how strong the selection was. Only now we've had chance to see it all play out is it obvious that Mori doesn't belong. I think without hindsight she was a risk worth taking, and could have easily ended up as a pillar of EN in a slightly different timeline.

This is the thing that weirds me out of Nene. Supposedly she's actually American, and not like Irys who came to Japan when she was a child, Nene apparently lived in America until she was already an adult. Even if she has been living in Japan for years by now, her English sucks too much, I can't believe she outright forgot how to speak her native language.
That's why I wonder if the idea of her being American is a lie and she is native Japanese after all.
