The absolute majority of Hololive members are adults (well, they're all are, but it's hard to consider people like Haachama, Shien, La+ and even Aqua adults), with most on their mid to late 20's and a non-insignificant number of them being older. If they truly wanted to collab with male vtubers and didn't want to deal with a fanbase that's generally against it they would never apply to Hololive, and some of them already openly stated they have no interest to (Miko, Noel, La+ and maybe others that I forgot). And if you actually paid attention to those co-ed collabs you'll see that the people who are vocally against it, the antis, are a minority. What really happens is that their fanbases just couldn't care less about the guys, so they just don't watch it. Happens everytime with FOXDEMON, happened with Mori and Rikka, happened with the big Stars/EN/ID collab. And it's not like they completely abandon their oshi because of it, they just tune out for this specific stream and come back on another one. Hell, there has been less controversy with all HololivexStars collabs than the recent off-collab NijiEN had with Pomu.
>Cover is looking for them to be able to attract a female audience.Doesn't meant they'll be forced to pander like NijiEN does. Tho Cover could give priority to the applicants that are interested in this sort of content, which is something I genuinely hope it doesn't happen.
