I was in for only two years because that's one of the shorter contracts and I just felt useless with a mechanic degree in a small town that doesn't need more than a couple mechanics. Luckily I moved to Turin after I left so I work full time now. :)
Libya is in a state of civil war. We have a base there as a holdover from our colony, Gadhafi abolished it while he was in charge but we took it back after he was ousted. It's basically in the middle of the desert, surprised humans can even live there, but it's ours.
