It only starts getting shitty when they get to around 15k average.
Also chat culture for particular streamers is better than others, also some put more effort into making their chat better than others.
For example Gura's chat is always a complete dumpster fire cause she doesn't do anything to make it better and doesn't really talk with chat, meanwhile Fauna's and Kiara's is pretty good cause they facilitate conversation.
