>>21487472I really fucking like the game, I really do, the graphics are amazing, there are some truly well designed bosses that I had fun spending hours figuring out how to beat, draconic tree sentinel actually being one of them, the open world tickles my explorative fancy like nothing else, there are a lot of things I like but there are also a lot of niggling flaws that just add up like how fall damage is calculated by comparing fucking Y coordenates instead of fall length, or how enemies read your animations (not your imput, your ANIMATION, but from frame 1 so it looks like input reading), how many dual bosses there are that arent' designed with each other in mind ala O&S, and so much other shit.
I like hard games, not frustrating games. If an enemy is well designed and the game's mechanics work with it, I have no trouble spending hours or days figuring how to beat it. If an enemy is hard for the sake of being hard, is designed to counter everything you throw at it, and can kill you in 2 hits even with maxed out HP and armor, then no thanks.
