The fact is that it’s not really fans since every fan group was watching it. Anyone can claim to be anything, it’s 4chan. Some people just get entertainment out of shitposting and making bait threads.
All it took to bring out all this shitposting was Mumei being bad at doing an impression (which no matter which member she had to impersonate would have probably been just about the same). And anyone who actually watched her already knew she has trouble doing impressions, I think most people have trouble doing that
