Even though Suisei performed with HimeHina as an opening, I feel confllicted with her performing earlier. I don't really watch concerts that much so I have this notion that opening acts are for lesser known talents.

I feel like their opening was done in a way to really hype the concert, especially with how HimeHina preformed (as the other anon stated) last.

They saved the best for the beginning, the middle, and the last, with HimeHinaSui Roki, Suisei's act into Kyou's act, the middle with Mito's spectacular stage, and the end with HimeHina again.

I think a lot of consideration was given onto when to put out their heavy hitters. I think it worked, the talking sections in between let you rest and build up hype for the next batch of singers.

Mirai Akari opened for VILLS and I wouldn't call her lesser known. Usually you open strong then have the lesser known talent go second so they get a bump from going right after the strong first act.

It is not a wrong notion at all. Opening acts tend to be warm ups for the main act, but this mainly applies to tours where a big name is headlining and lesser acts are either brought along or more local talent showcased. V-Carnival on the other hand is an event where different companies showcase their talents and thus a more even distribution is needed. Not to mention it is online which I suspect brings new concerns with keeping the viewership watching advertisements through the whole event as opposed to an IRL festival where people are going to come and go according at their own pace according to their schedule and the billboards are going to stay there regardless and bring less money anyway. Last year Suisei had throat pain, and though she went to see a doctor the doctor didn't have anything to say. Some time later I don't recall when but at least close to the end of the year, she sought, and found a new doctor, one that was recommended to her by others. The new doctor is not useless and found out what was causing the pain, it was inflammation and swelling near her vocal cords. It was caused by a combination of allergies, acid reflux, and her straining her voice with all of her singing. On the recommendation of the doctor, and as part of other treatments, such as allergy medication, she has changed the voice she was using to be closer to her real voice. Since the change she has been able to stream more consistently. Also the new voice is lower in tone and sexier.

That was really fast, I feel like 30 minutes isn't enough for this radio show.
As expected, Suisei and Koroazu still aren't used to each other, but it seems like they could get along with each other well sooner or later. Like most people, Koroazu thought Suisei was shy and reserved when they first met each other, then was surprised when she found out Suisei's actually quite lively.

Everything about the post was good up until here
It's not 100% accurate to say that how she is speaking now is her "real voice"
Who are we to dictate what is her real voice, How would anyone know that except Suisei herself?
Is it unnatural when she slips back into the voice she previously used before the surgery when she gets excited?
The way she talks more is definitely more relaxed, but that's because that is what the doctor recommended.

It's good that so many people are showing support for her but,
the posts/comments/superchats where people are calling this her real voice are annoying because it's like saying she's been putting on an act this whole time or something

this is obviously referring to what is most natural for her. The voice she uses the most when she is not in character. We obviously can't know but it wouldn't make sense for her to strain her voice if she is trying to go easy on her throat so what she is doing now is probably closer to it.
It's not unnatural to go higher in pitch sometimes. People do that all the time even when they are not in character.

There is no actual reason to think that. Wanting to use a voice that isn't your normal voice doesn't mean you don't like your natural voice, it means you want to do something that you don't think your natural voice would be the best fit for. She could be perfectly happy with her natural voice and still think that it's not the right fit. Suisei and Luna are probably closer then it seems to be.Like at that time where Suisei just casually walk in on Luna's 3d debut stage during rehearsal to just say hi and playing Luna's games or at that morning where Roboco having an improp tu apex collab with Suisei and Luna.

Most fans already watch it live on the radio, so there's no need to rewatch it again. One week delay is way too long, and people who miss it will just download a fan achieve. They put a good(singing) half in VR channel, which many casual fans will never found out because she hides it in the description. It's also an eops filtering program.
The decision to put a half achieve in her channel is poor. it fucks up the algorithm for having an underperforming video every week especially when she rarely stream.

I watched it live when it was on Youtube. After they took it off Youtube, I still went out of my way to watch it on their website, until they took away the Live2D and went static image only. After that I would just read the translations on twitter later and skim the VOD comments for anything interesting. Also part of the appeal of the show for me was the live singing and the first and last few months didn't have much of that due to the multiple COVID lockdowns.

You're comparing apples to oranges. You cant just count vod viewers, although that's not a bad amount by any means considering it's not a stream nor a meme video, as well as it being a radio show first and foremost, the people listening to it will be using the app or the website. I personally think it's achieved some success, for what it was. Enough to land her another contract with a moderately big VA.

Anon, you're clearly new so I understand, but formal radio shows are usually like that. Tokomachi radio is an exception because its not really an actual radio show broadcasted over radio waves. During its whole run, Music Space always went trending on twitter for 2-3 hours after broadcast. Music Space's special lives with Mememe and Kyou and Suisei's acoustic covers were also on the top of Bunka Housou V&R's page for a while, which is amazing since LizeLulu and Daisanji always gets considerably huge numbers.

More importantly, if nobody watches Music Space, then why the fuck would it get TWO special concerts, both of which were broadcasted all over the nation over TV waves, and one of which was XR and sponsored by Lategra, the company responsible for V-Carnival's AR technology (which is funded by FujiTV)?

I think music space will be a good section to have eng subs on. They are short enough and unique on their own. I wish she had enough support from cover staff to had that but yeah. If noone already know, the radio shows that holo has, like the with fbk&marine, the new pne with roberu and that seiyuu and this new one with Suisei, they are all EOP filtering. Quite a shame because i think they are interesting. The vtubers have some certain calm around them when they don't have to take care of the tech around them

Yeah, Music Space definitely is something that could have been translated and had they done that, it could boosted both Suisei and the guests with EOPs flocking to listen to it as word of subtitles gets around. Entirely different matter of course whether they want such attention, though you'd think musically oriented chuubas at least wouldn't object to more views propping them up on the algorithm.

By the way, the Music Space episodes on the Bunka Housou channel have Japanese subtitles, which is very helpful for your reps. Aside from that, it seems like autotranslate uses those subs and produces a somewhat comprehensible garble instead of complete garble, although I hesitate to recommend it to EOPs as it's still a machine translation and occasionally completely incorrect.

He's ok. He's just doing his work, being commissioned to do art for a vtuber doesn't mean you have to love them like they're actually your child, especially in Suisei's case where he was just commissioned to upgrade her design and design new outfits.

I think you people are getting way too attached to artists, its not like he's actually her stepfather, in the end he's just a commissioned artist. Getting other artists to design new outfits for a vtuber is completely possible and nijisanji does it all the time, I don't know why hololive doesn't do it more often.

Why go out of your way in the first place to draw other holos if you weren't commissioned to draw them and were just there to upgrade suisei's design? Remember he's a Japanese artist, suddenly deleting art with no explanation is like a rite of passage for some reason. It's possible he deleted other non-Holo art as well that no one noticed. Maybe he saw all the clips that use his Anemachi art without permission, or someone bothered him about the orange leggings and he got butthurt. Maybe he got a nice gig with some Chinese group and can't really be seen flaunting Holo art.

As I remember, he never drew Holos after this. I think he can't trust COVER anymore. So I was surprised when suityan got her new outfit.
And he unfollowed all Holos after the Dojin thing that happened last week.
So I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much.
But suityan said the reason he did nothing new for the merch at the 3rd YT Live was because the schedule moved 1 month earlier, so maybe he can make a new one for suityan if it's a job.

Hololive fanbase now is not friendly for the outsider in any way. They always lynch on opposition like BL writer and mi*uryu cases. There is a high gap between call out someone a shit head and straight up harassment like they did. I might understand the reason why he wants to stay away from hololive fanbase.
For Hoshiyomis, I don't know how bad they were, but Suisei clearly stated that she hates this kind of behavior. I hope they're a little bit more the fact that they must let her deals with her own problems.

iinchou talked about suisei and the poop story. she added that after that suisei became slightly more friendly towards her. when they had to be seated and there was a lot of open seats, suisei chose to sit beside mito and moved her seat to be even more close with her.

to be fair, people also stay away from Mito because she seems deranged when you only know her at surface level, and Mito herself doesn't really reach out to people that often. Despite being a fairly old chuuba, she has quite the small circle of friends and she rarely does one-on-one collabs even within Nijisanji.
luckily, it seems like Suisei could get along well with her since she can ride iinchou's weird humor, plus they both like im@s. Mito easily likes people who say they like her too.
