>>21920243The full background for Kronii and Minecraft was that it was her comfort game she's play off stream and originally justified that because she believed people would only want to watch the end product of what she built and not the process of building it.
And at the time Hololive was planning on merging the EN and JP minecraft servers, so it was all hands on deck.
The issue was she was playing it constantly off stream, like 6-8 hours a day, almost every day for weeks. It got to the point where people were monitoring other holo members minecraft streams because they knew Kronii would appear in them and there was a week where she had more time in other people's mine craft streams than stream time herself. And after the server IP was leaked and people could monitor log ins, it was figured out that Kronii only streamed around 10% of her play time.
Kronii's chat to their credit, tried to continually offer Kronii compromises, like having the streams be members only, but make the VOD public, or do void streams where Kronii ignores chat, but it always ended in her saying 'I'll think about it' and never doing anything.
Then things went really downhill because it started to affect her sleep schedule to the point she overselpt for a collab and the resulting stream was so scuffed, she privated it. And then she got an extremely passive aggressive supa calling out her minecraft habits and the rest of HoloEN picked up on using the meme 'not addicted' whenever Kronii and minecraft were mentioned, which she was uncomfortable with.
Kronii ended up dropping the game unless it was for a collab or a special project for the server. But since everyone else has effectively dropped the game too since the big server merge is over, she doesn't play anymore. And you still have members of Kronii's community pointing fingers over who to blame.
tl;dr Kronii played minecraft way to much off stream and it caused problems, so she doesn't play anymore.
