>>2185074Oh please spare me this bullshit. Rise is absurdly casualized by the arms race between monsters and players. To counter the blatant mobility creep and aoe spam
Of the monsters, hunters got all sorts of iframe moves baked into their kit, wirefall, monster riding, dogs who you can sharpen on, moving with potions, instant flash bombs, mobility and superarmor wire bugs out the ass, reduced friendly fire tripping, endemic life, and permanent buffs that continue after you cart. You dont even lose food buffs anymore. Wire fall is probably the worst offender because most monsters cant even counter it. On handheld the monsters would knock you on your ass and you have to use your 1-2 seconds of iframes to make a plan of how you would get back up and go to safety, sheathe your weapon, bait out an attack, and then heal, and after those short moments of invuln vanish you have to execute it. In rise you get hit, you wirefall miles away from the monster, they dont even have time to prepare a new attack animation like older games, you already have a sheathed weapon, and you can move away while healing. Getting hit is basically just a mega potion down the drain now where as it was the monsters opportunity to cart you if you couldnt execute a good recovery. If you get hit while wirefalling you can just wirefall again. The game would be much better if they removed wirefall and the absurd amount of super armor in the game
