>>21806748The Trash Taste thing for me was less about her collabing with them (I don't really care about that at all) but rather the infamous Twitter response that ended up with LEAN memes.
I actually quite like electroswing and checked out
Demon's Alcatraz song back when Calli debuted and thought it was pretty good. Musically I can respect the instrumentation. Lyrically, I'm not a fan and IMO lyrics are the most important part of a song if I understand the language. Nor am I the biggest fan of her voice but that might be because of my bias against her at the moment.
>>21806928> If your basis on her personality is from 2020, then I wholly recommend giving her another shot.> Nevertheless, you don't have to force yourself to like her. Levelheaded indifference is a perfectly valid way to go about it. I thought so but from call-ins or collabs e.g. CHADcast I can't shake that kinda awkward feeling. And the problem here is that I'm not even indifferent, it's almost an active distaste. I don't go out of my way to avoid Calli but sometimes my enjoyment of certain streams takes a slight hit. Even becoming indifferent would be better. I'm truly trying not to be a hater. I'll give those Elden Ring streams a try though.
Talking through this now, I think the sticking point is that the EN HoloMems I like are more "funny" than entertaining. I regularly watch all the EN member streams except Ame, Ina, Mumei, and Calli, in that order of preference. Ame and Ina are entertaining to watch so I do tune in every now and then, they just aren't as "funny" as say Gura or IRyS. Mumei I'm fully indifferent to. Calli, I just don't find entertaining or very funny.
Which brings me to my next question: What about Calli do you deadbeats find entertaining? Other than her music. I've seen some people call her cute but I don't see her that way for the most part (she does have her moments).
