Every thread I go to on this board is collab this and collab that. Why are you so obsessed with collabs?
Shouldn't having your oshi alone be enough for you?

People who watch a lot of one vtuber want to see something more/new from them. Most of the back and forth they have while talking is either about the game their playing or with chat. Chat doesn't change a whole lot stream to stream. Eventually it gets stale.

New games can help, but your post is exactly right. Collabs activate neurons because it's exposing people's oshi to another streamer and their chat/culture. It's new content.

I like collabs in the sense it exposes my oshi to more people. She often seems to have a lot of fun doing them. But yeah, I like her solo streams best.

I like 2 person collabs but 4 person collabs are too crowded and anything over that is completely impossible for me. What I really hate is spontaneous or unannounced collabs. There's nothing worse than seeing a stream on a schedule, getting excited for it, and then having to not watch because it got invaded.
