With Solipsism, you would say that social pressures don’t have any effect on you. It would be embracing non-understanding of social pressures. Deny their effect on you despite the interaction.
Ego death would be realizing the self is formed and transitively other people’s selves are impacted by social pressures and social institutions that enforce these pressures. It would be understanding how the various types of interactions, such as Solipsism, would have on the self. How does your interaction of rejection, abolishment, embracing have on you, the self.
It is the certainty that the outside world has effects on the self where Solipsism is that doubt. Ego death is the embracing of the soundness of the material while Solipsism is the rejection.
