Think about it, what are the 3 possible outcomes from asking someone to collab with someone else?
They either like each other and were going to do so naturally anyways, in which case it's pointless, they don't want to collab with that person, or that person doesn't want to collab with them.
Either way it's rude to put them in that position, there's a reason a lot of chuubas have rules stating not to even mention other chuubas unless they bring them up.
