>>2209558800's oldfags tend to be more left-leaning, closer to lib-left or anarchist, because we care a lot about internet privacy and the evils of megacorps. that doesn't mean they support democrats or liberals though, all those corrupt faggots deserve the rope. even left-wing oldfags tend to not care very much about culture war issues besides not being racist or homophobic. they aren't likely to speak up when it comes to trans shit because it's all just dogwhistles and drumbeating for both sides with zero actual substance and none of it is useful to society in the least.
2013 and 2016 tourists tend to be extremely right-wing and very vocal about it. they probably outnumber the oldfags at this point but they're themselves outnumbered by people who genuinely don't care or think about politics and wish /pol/ were deleted. the oldfags tend to not bring up political issues unless it's relevant to the conversation like occasionally on /g/ regarding internet privacy but /pol/tards find a way to shoehorn their unhinged politics into every single board, pretty much like Pippa does.
>>22101786/pol/ was always very right-wing but /pol/ is a newfag board that should've never existed. those national socialist threads started off as a "haha kinda joking but not really" shitpost for the first few years until 2016 tourists helped them really take off. even the left-wing users of /pol/ didn't pay much attention to them and it wasn't nearly as tribal at the board's inception.
