Lets not sell them short. Ones like Miko and Pekora are legit some of the most talented streamers in the entire world. Much more so than even facecam streamers who have to fall back in react content. Miko, Pekora, Gura, Kobo, etc. are just pure entertainers day in and day out. The best in the world.

Food for thought,

Anime is coming on Youtube where you can watch episodes for free. Muse Asia is one good example of a channel but outside of free anime episodes, they don't really have anything else. I know Muse ID employs vtubers, but should Muse Asia employ their own vtuber or have one of Hololive/Nijisanji overseas members as ambassadors and do weekly watchalongs when new shows are currently airing?

Oh wait, maybe... just maybe... the reason they think it's good to have muse stream free on youtube is probably to combat piracy. They don't get any money from pirates taking away their views, but they can earn money from the ad revenue and premium memberships streaming it live? It's better than having no money. CR and funimation doesn't have a way to prevent those sites from stealing their shit.

She's a natural at this, back during debut I've said that if she weren't attached to crunchyroll and streamed more than twice a week she could have a decent shot at being an indie darling. As it is she's still a pretty good streamer capable of averaging 1k ccv, but one can only imagine how she'll do if she made this her sole career

Here is an interesting chart (now that I have all steramers categorized with company, branch, gen / wave and sex)

Five comments

1) Myth reigns supreme, it's not even a contest and it never was
2) Council, Luxiem and IRyS numbers are surprisingly interconnected since the end of CCVID, with their growth tracking very closely since mid February.
3) Noctyx not doing as well as Luxiem. They are doing way better than the NijiEN girls but, at the same time, they are the only gen to show consistent recline across the board since their debut. (End of debut buff maybe?)
4) Obsydia and Lazulight tracking each other for a long time, with the former getting some buff game boosts on occasion but always returning to their 2k natural median
5) Despite being the lowest ranked gen in this chart Ethyria is showing the best growth among NijiEN girls, inclining themselves from around 1k to near 1.6k.

Notice that this is the 30 days median of peaks meaning it is more or less a long term trend without being impacted too much by recent recents or streams.

Here is the comparison, Noctyx pulled back 2 months or so to overlay their debut with Luxiem.

The time to pull back for Noctyx would be right now except (despite what people may think) it is not impossible that Luxiem initial decline was just CCVID masking their true audience.

Bae and Iroha is a good example of irrelevancy. There is a reason why Yagoo should ask them what specialty do they have and what kind of content can they do to retain viewers every week.

For Fauna, ASMR. She already got a set of dedicated fans like Ina.

For Mumei, Singing. People would tune into her unannounced unarchived karaokes.

Then, there's Sana, Bae and Kronii. Who doesn't have the commitment to do consistent streams every week. I'm pretty sure Cover aimed Sana to make drawing/astronomy streams every week and Kronii to do VA streams every week, but my god, they aren't enforcing those kind of tasks and literally said to Sana, to not give a shit about your numbers. Those numbers are actually respectable. Good for her for staying somewhat relevant despite how much the industry has changed. If she tried to leech off Holos she would probably do pretty well since her English is actually really good. Better than Haachama.

There is an element of truth tho, since some *were* hired to fill missing niches, namely Fauna.
That said, I remain confused as ever as to why Sana was hired, considering she made it clear she was hardly going to do arts streams despite art being the only thing she had experience in. I can only guess that being bilingual and same-ish time zone as Japan were the deciding factors.
