There was a large combination of things but really what it came down to was being annoyed that almost every stream is vidya, theres over 50% collabs every week for most the girls, and most importantly it just felt like they were legitimately trying to chase off their old fans who just wanted cute girls to watch.
The first 2 I could ignore since it's just a content issue, I'd just watch what i care about.
But it really started to feel like they were actively being hostile to people who just wanted to watch the girls or a particular streamer without the others butting in. A few cases that really bothered me.

It felt so tone deaf i can't imagine it was by accident anymore, especially considering how they've acted since. It felt like they genuinely just wanted to give a fuck you to anyone who just wanted to watch 2 girls hang out.
>millie totsu A minor one but it kind of exemplifies a lot of the problems nijiEN had. It's millies totsu she has some fun joking around with finana, enna, and reimu. Then fulgar and Vox come in and it instantly revolves around them, they didn't give a shit about millie despite this being her channel they're calling into, it was about them. And millie being millie just let's it happen.
By itself it's not a big deal, just Vox and fulgar being garbage. But it's just another example in a long line of streams it happens.
>rosemi Her cooking stream was just the least cared for thing I ever watched. I'm not a huge rosemi fan but it was terrible, then she ditches it to collab with vshojo. It was such a blatant fuck you to her fans who just wanted to have a nice cooking stream.
Then in her rfa stream she just randomly throws up a picture of uki at the end. No reasoning behind it just randomly "lol and here's a male vtuber I'll plaster in front of your faces." It was so meaningless and pointless literally the only reason I could ascribe to it is her reading all the hate for this shit happening, so she just does it as a mean spirited joke to anyone that hated it.
But all I get from that is the message they're telling us to fuck off if we don't like how the entire branch has gone to the shitter.
So I stopped watching all of them. Unsubbed unmemebered. Not watching any of them again. Maybe they'll improve their shit eventually but I doubt it. They didn't want their fans who were there from day 1 anymore and I dont want to watch them anymore.
