In Japanese idol culture, there is a lot of baiting homosexual relationships. The male idols will pretend to be interested in each other, and all the fujos will go wild. The female idols will pretend to be yuri with each other, so the fans think they haven't had a man yet. This is a constant thing in the Japanese idol industry, which Kiara knows well.
When Kiara was first hired in hololive, the very first thing she tried to do was start yuri relationship drama with Callie, which Callie was extremely uncomfortable with, but was forced to play along with. Then after being rebuffed by Callie, Kiara goes off and does the same thing with every other girl she can find.
