Hololive has a sophisticated trolling operation. They sort threads by creation date and refresh the page, and pounce on any new threads they see. They make sure to fill the first 5 or 10 posts of these new threads with negative, slanderous posts. Thus poisoning the thread for everyone. This tactic has discouraged people from creating new threads, and thus caused this entire board to be choked up by generals, which are complete cancer and half of which survive on life support bumps
Doing this benefits hololive corporation, because it means that their fanbase doesn't learn about anyone outside their company. But it harms the board as a whole, limits free discussion of vtubers, and keeps everyone on their plantation monopoly. Because of the extremely slow thread-creation rate, they are able look more impressive by getting maxxed-out general threads, which would not exist on a faster, healthier board.
