There is no legitimate reason a game as beautiful as Elden Ring or with lore as rich as the Souls games to be gatekept with ball-busting difficulty. A "journalist mode" where you could just flip out and kill everything like in Devil May Cry would be a welcome addition to Fromsoft games and wouldn't make the normal game any less fun.

Doesn't change the fact that the game has ways to break the AI and disregard basic fundamentals and core mechanics

The game has all the tools you need to make it as easy or as hard as you want it to be. But I will still say that the later half of the game can go fuck itself. That shit was miserable.
