It's a standalone game they made as an April Fool's joke that doesn't connect to any of the other Far Cry games, and it's a rather short game compared to the others, so it makes for a good streaming game. Kind of similar to why a lot of people jump in to Metal Gear with Revengeance.
Also, Far Cry 1 is a really, really bad game and while it would be an entertaining stream I would hate for her to start off with that one and get put off playing the others.

Also after finishing Overlord I realized that, well, the game is not that fun to watch...
The premise is good but most of the time you stand around while your minions are doing stuff in the distance or just looting. It didn't help that Selen was very lost throughout the game...
It's a shame but it makes sense that she dropped it.

Anon, I can't make a chart but I could speculate on Selen's piss through text.
Selen, on average, takes about 2 to 3 short breaks per stream to go to the bathroom, lasting, again, on average about 5 minutes. (if any anon has some information on that, please share)
The average weight for women in north america is 177 pounds, or 80.7 kilograms for non-freedom readers, meaning that the average north american is overweight. That will come in handy later. Just so you can have an idea, the ideal weight for women at the 19-24 age range being 5'2, or 160 cms is around 104 to 131 pounds (47 to 59,4 kgs, respectively).
It is common knowledge that Selen is at the least bit chubby, logically being overweight, likely between 150 - 170 pounds (68 - 77kgs). If we were to believe that, naturally she has a higher chance of consuming acidic foods, such as eggs, processed meat and rice due to having a chinese upbringing. I think it's kind of unnecessary considering the model isn't so detailed that you're missing out on something important. I would say the only reason to do a closeup is if you're also going to add some other video effect and you know how people feel about those kinds of clips.

From what I've seen in OW2 so far, it doesn't look fun at all... but selen was a really good OW player back then, so her commentary and collab chemistry should more than compensate that shit game

Same here desu Anon, I just finished playing SMT Nocturne which (in spite of the flaws it has) is unironically an amazing Game.
I'll probably even NG+ the Game to aim for some of the other endings it has...

So far one of the only "Modern AAAs" I'm truly interested in is indeed Elden Ring, but I'd rather play some of the other Souls/FromSoft Games first before getting into it.

Noice. Also Apex aside, Selen has proven to have an unironically good (as well as varied) taste in Video Games.
Made a lot of her Streams great to tune into and ofc fun to watch (first got into her via her RE4 Streams early on, sad she never got to finish the game though).
Especially been loving her Demon's Souls streams recently, as someone wanting to get into those Games myself it's been a lot of fun watching someone with a similar first-time experience truly 'Git Gud' as it were. :^)

I actually wish she'd play Fortnite more often because I'm quite the dedicated Fortnite player and the more she plays it the more likely they are to make a Selen skin for Fortnite. I remember I used to hope for Hololive skins but now if they did it I'd be disappointed it's not Selen instead. the main thread makes me so sad. Selen was just having fun playing House of the Dead and they all just shit on her for something unrelated. Everyone saying that she's just lazy for having no time to learn Japanese when she's always working hard on organizing big events and projects for us. This was a pretty fun and chill stream.
The gameplay felt closer to watching a movie than an actual video game, but I genuinely had fun.
The zatsu was fairly short but Selen had some pretty interesting things to say about the arcades and neopets and I like listening to her passionately talking about things.

Selen and Dragoons were always shat on by others but it wasn't nothing out of this world on the Lazusydia era, this shit started to escalate on the Ethyria era were Selen started to get actual antis making entire threads schizo paradise when she was streaming.

If you're going to use the main thread, you (or any dragoon, really) should let it go and not bite bait. Yes, someone will start something falseflagging with a Selen image to get some easy (You)s, but you shouldn't engage with any of them. I feel like dragoons almost always bite the bait which leads to ember jokes and "go back to your split" stuff. When no one bites the bait the Selen shitposting dies out in a few minutes.

It's probably because Rein's voice actor isn't German. Yeah, I know that applies to a few others and they later added some Portuguese lines for Lucio for example, but most people seem to agree that was a mistake. It'd probably end up being Blumenkranz levels of butchering German.

I would say it actually is a pretty fun game when you're new. It's only after a while that it starts to get repetitive and burn you out. I wouldn't recommend trying to play it competitively but it is a good "once in a while" game.
