she's going against like all of HoloEN and duolingo is a fucking shit stream most of the time. I even clicked in for a second and she's just going a mile a minute in Japanese so I guess it's aimed either bilingual people or Japanese people trying to learn English.

There's a reason the best duolingo streams were like polka who realized almost immediately how shit it is as content so she made it entertaining or suisei just by doing voices. It's not a good way to learn a language (you can see when koyori disagrees with the Japanese duolingo puts out) and it's not entertaining content.

Further trying to appeal to EN viewers at the detriment of their JP viewers is absolutely fucking stupid. JP viewers throw more and are more relevant for their sponsors and the level of english you need to reach to really appeal to a wide range of EN viewers is massive.

Even moona is too fucking shit at english for me to watch. And no I will not call moona fluent. she isn't fluent. She butchers basic grammar in almost every sentence and has a nonexistent vocabulary. People should have higher standards for them even if they're anime girls.

Her median for the first 10 days of April is 6.5k.
But yes yesterday was the lowest I've ever seen haachama excluding ccvid times.
She had 1.6k in her waiting room and it barely went above that, both sora and irys didn't even get their waiting room numbers back either, given that raft is a very very boring game.
Also haachama's "meme" review isn't a meme review, how about you read the titles of them? She also ends up her streams before the stream stops inclining

Haachama's recline is unprecedented. She was one of the biggest in the entire company in late 2020 and now she hardly gets more viewers than mel or choco. Hard to tell what's Koyori's plan in this case, my guess is that she's trying to stay relevant on the EN side as well as the JP side. We've seen that JP/EN collabs are always received well if they choose a good game to stream together.

I know /vt/ loves it's numbers, but I'm pretty sure for this case it's just testing out the waters on how well said stream does.

There are a lot of things that I would argue she "did wrong" if she didn't constantly change her mind about what she wants to do. Now Japan is insular enough that they can get by better than basically any other first world country without needing to know any english outside of adopted loan words but the bit they do learn isn't because it's "trendy" it's because they already know a bit from school and they want to appeal to EOPs. JPs for the most part don't "pander" to shit. They like engaging with their fans. They are nice people who enjoy their jobs and interacting with their audience.

The stream was in jp, most coments were in jp, and koyori streams like 12 hours a day, if a fan doesn't wanna watch x stream they can just catch the next one in 3 or 4 hours.
