If Vtubers are effectively puppets, why would anyone care if they are dating or sleeping with anyone?

Yes, somebody has to play Elmo on Sesame Street. Yes, that puppeteer is paid for their work. Yes, that money is paid by an agency (PBS) or by private donors (their funding drives). Yes, Elmo's puppeteer likely has a SO and yes that puppeteer is likely fucking their SO.

So why would half this board get so butt hurt about who a Vtuber is fucking in their off time? Elmo or Ame can both look at the camera and appear to address you personally when they say your name, but neither is obligated to keep up the act off screen.

I hope someone told these fans that vtubers and women aren't like vending machines; you don't pay them or be nice to them until sex falls out.
