>>2252735I dropped her as an oshi candidate after her nonstop archive delays during the first week. But I still watch the streams relevant to my interests like multi-player collabs with /ourbranch/ or her genuine good faith effort to unfugly the en server (which is the way it is because westerners are both more utilitarian, the girls outside of Ame and Ina don't care about minecraft, and there's not enough people playing on it for surprise collabs to be fun).
Between pissing on stream (albeit not with the intensity she previously claimed), getting caught having premarital sex, and subtly alluding to wearing sexy black panties for her boyfriend during the rainbow bridge stream, I'd still say she's a bumblingly entertaining streamer to watch and definitely a great asset to the en ecosystem due to cover's comparative dearth of English speaking holos.
And with Enma apparently still cockblocking both Coco and chama, Holo en (and especially the en server) could definitely use every English speaking collab partner they can get approved. Even if zombi's disgraced herself time and again and conducts herself like a thirsty bisexual, I'd rather our branch had more English speaking work friends after the jp collabs lost their novelty and became just a bunch of uninteresting gibberish I can't understand or enjoy. That's not to say en shouldn't collab with jp, but the performances fall flat when you can't understand the jokes and hijinks that are the entire point of watching a streamer as opposed to a straight playthrough.
Tldr Ollie is weak solo (like all the indos) but brings the wholesome genki that en is currently missing. We only have cheeky, bratty, sincere, toxic and chill. That may change with time, but currently the indogs (genki, snobbish, optimistic, opportunistic, savant, and literal who) add desperately needed variety to en collabs English streams
>>2255192It's boring because boring people play it while the jokes the more entertaining jap holos make fly over the heads of eop viewers. The fact is, none of the en girls are especially entertaining during their solo Mc streams, and their Mc collabs aren't ambitious enough to cause hilarious mishaps that make Mc streams worth watching. They're also not good enough (aside from Ina) to make fun interesting beautiful things that keep people's attention, while Ina usually never does minecraft collabs with anyone who'd make a fun partner like Mori or gura (kiara's still kind of whiny and annoying and Ame is also too chill and utilitarian). The indos are also somewhat boring on their own, even in their own collabs, and the only breakout hit was the pekomoona arc that succeeded because of their distinctly different personalities and mostly targeted jp viewers since pekora's uncharacteristic gushing over moona was the main draw.
In contrast, the only en streams that are genuinely fun (and linguistically decipherable) are the ones where the en girls collab with the indos. Those tend to be more tongue in cheek due to cultural enrichment. That, and ollie's recent en server solo stream was also decent. But that's because it's only fun watching something be built by an interesting personality when you'll be able to see reactions to it in a language you can understand. This is why the indos' jp streams fall far more flat. Eop's win't know what other holos think of the structures except through secondhand translated clips after the fact, which just don't have the same hype as live reactions.
