Maybe I misheard but last stream Astel said he wanted to befriend more women, like when he was in highschool. Some other stream he also said if he got a girlfriend/boyfriend he would stop streaming (it's a bit outdated though). And that's just the ones on the top of my head, this guy could say whatever and won't get any backlash.

Thing is, gachikois are VERY VERY weak don't you think? All they can do is spam mean messages with one or a few accounts. The gachikois get scary when they are many and in other words, popular Oshis. So without getting in the realm of haters which is the brunt of what we've experienced so far, it is unlikely there is much of an issue with the boys

This isn't true. Everyone technically needs a license if they want to stream a game. It's just that many companies don't care, but if they did, and some do, they'd be able to strike the videos off youtube. Also there are some publishers that give a blanket streaming license (Minecraft), some that only give it to private people and some where the licensing is fucky because different companies published it Japan than elsewhere.

Pretty much what >>2279846 said, I just look at them as if they were regular streamers but with an anime avatar, as far as I was concerned there wasn't much difference between them and youtubers/streamers that use an avatar or png for their videos/streams.
In case of Holostars it also helps that, at least to me, they always felt like I'm watching a gang of bros hanging out and doing stupid shit together (just look at Oga singing Snow Halation with the boys), so it doesn't feel too different from what I was used to already.

Depends on which ones. Gays mainly liked the femboys and they're both gone now. Shien/Oga and Temma/Miyabi have the most fujos in their fanbases iirc. Roberu seems to be generally liked by every group, same with Rikka thanks to his music focus. Izuru has an army of tumblr/twitter teen girls following him that act like your average kpop stan. Astel's fanbase is a little more chill since it's a mix of that and general Apex fans. I think Aruran might be the only one who's fanbase is primarily just foreign dudes who treat him like a regular streamer since he has the cultural exchange streams and does English only challenges every now and then
