>>22821897>If that was the case they would have found already atleast 4 Holostars EN instead of keeping somehow find no one while Nijisanji keeps debuting males after males.>Maybe it's because they keep having too high standard or something, meaning Holo auditions are a lot harder than Niji, which is also true looking at Nijisanji records from japan and other regions aswellIt's because you unironically have a better chance of interacting with your Hololive oshi as a member of NijiEN than HoloEN. Very few content creators meet the 50k subs requirement and are willing to abandon their current channel to join Holostars, a basically dead branch, just to be slightly closer to Gura while knowing they'll never ever be able to collab with her. Especially with the Hololive job requirement of being idol-like aka knowing how to sing, do ASMR, pander to fujos/yumes, etc. Not many men in the west fit those requirements. They'd be looking for someone with theater experience or someone that does bfe ASMR type stuff
but those people get rejected in the vetting stage as successful male content creators are massive whores.>>22822025The general sentiment from /asp/ and a few other vtuber boards like /r/virtualyoutubers is that Hololive are more willing to watch your audition video and contact you for an interview. However once you get past that stage they're much stricter, they're looking for people that want to be idols, or at least fit the company culture. Nijisanji will hire virtually anyone as long as you have some redeeming qualities to give you a potential audience. It's just a lot harder to get your foot in the door unless you're Elira's friend. They also don't seem to care as much about subs, I know a few 3views with 50k+ subs that applied and didn't get in back when they were hiring for Ethyria. It's just a complete crapshoot whether they give you a chance so if you're actually talented the HoloEN interview is a more direct and more likely to lead to employment. I guess it's not fair to call it "harder" but if you're worth hiring(and meet the requirements) then Hololive is a easier process.
