We have to remember that Hana was there before the big overseas boom of vtubers. So, it's not weird to think an english speaker would not take the job seriously.
Back when ID was alive, I remember she would push her audience to go watch the others at nijisanji ID instead of her. And she seemed to be quite unhappy with the fact that her audience would only watch her.
She even seemed happy to see her views drop: that's apparently why she wanted her dad out. He brought to many viewers.
So, I think she just nuked herself on purpose. Then, inevitably nuked the whole ID branch because she was the only big success there.
That or she's just completly insane, because all the streams I saw of her before moving to other people screamed "I don't care about this, this is just for fun, go donate to my colleagues".
