Talking about why Ame gets frustated often.
The thing about hololive events or chuubas projects and why it frustates the chuubas
who want to do things is that management turns them down to make fake scarcity.
3D streams things aren't that difficult or costly to make, even some indie 2-3 views do 3D lives from time to time.
But you barely see them do not-concert 3D lives because they want to keep them "special" so they look more valuable.
Same for the concerts themselves, actual IRL idols do dozens of concerts and get new albums every year;
the amount of time they're on stage in a year is way way higher than any holo really
(they do like what, 2 50 minutes lives,if lucky, and 30 minutes of appearing in other holos concerts in a year?)
Indies, small corpos and even big western streamers do mega collabs and tournaments all the fucking time in a year.
Holos somehow they're always extremely busy people hard to put together. This is absolutely intentional.
Similar with revealing new 2D avatars, they take a few months to make but your oshi could easily get 4-5 new models per year.
They don't to drive up the interest up for new one. If a chuuba wants a new one they have to wait in line for whenever management decides to.
And i could go on even longer with this.
They know they're selling the FOMO thing by underdelivering and it works great for them.
But it does have the effect that it's way comfier for the going through the notions chuubas
that are happy just playing the same numberfag games over and over and doing barely anything else (or just nothing like Ayame) while the ones who want to challenge themselves get shut down often.
