>>23047240Yes but also no. The Link from OoT is the direct descendant of SS Link, however time traveling split the timeline. At the end of OoT, Link traveled back to the present time, which left his adult body trapped in the Sacred Realm, which Zelda seals permanently.
Wind Waker takes place in the adult timeline, where there is no longer the hero's descendent. WW Link isn't originally the chosen one. He earns the right by restoring the Triforce of Courage.
