On a semi-related note, if I hadn't been linked by an old pal back in 2014 I may have actually forgotten about the site. I'm pretty sure I at least knew the name, but in all these years I've never actually gotten a recommendation for a video that deal with 4chan or has that in the name. I miss the pre-gamergate times when 4chan Q&As were semi-common too, maybe when cyberlive and tsunderia are officially out of business they'll feel more secure to interact with their fans where they are instead of making them come to discord

If Pippa stopped quoting 4chan memes and inside jokes, the subset of her audience that is only really there for that aspect of her streams would obviously lose interest over time. What percentage they are is unknown, probably not that many in the grand scheme of things, but she definitely does market herself in a way that appeals to the younger, edgier, newfag members of this website, regardless if she breaks containment or not. The real reason is that it has a lot of money backing it. It's been admitted that Phase is constantly hemorrhaging cash despite performing much better than companies that report a profit. They can just afford far more than the other corporations in maintain infrastructures, buying merchandise and advertising

The major difference between Phase and everyone else has always been the sheer amount of cash they're working with over other companies. They are in effect capable of indirectly purchasing CCV. Most other explanations are just people seeing the company is doing well then hand waving it with arbitrary explanations no one can observe instead of actually paying attention to what they do

4chan's influence on PC is overexaggerated. Youtube, Twitch, Discord, and Twitter have way more influence on PC. I think the only sites to have less influence on PC than /here/ is reddit and the farms. Regardless, PC is way more entwined with /here/ than any other small or large corpo. That is only a thing in Cyberlive (presumably because they want yuribucks and then because they were cheap retards who made a talent become management which then triggered a reckoning though they now finally have a competent one) and previously Tsunderia (one of them). The managers of Prism, Phase, Kawaii (IIRC) HoloEN & NijiEN don't stream. Well the manager of NijiEN used to but that's a wholly different story.

Because honestly, if you've done something like this you should go for a vtuber management career. Just so there's less out of touch retards messing things up. I think Phase is still looking for one and so is Nijisanji.

I think that is what makes them unique. They do have very few restrictions but they still don't resort to coomer bullshit. Usually it's either ironfisted or sex jokes all day with EN corpos & indies.
