Honestly. I used to like her covers back in highschool because my ex put me onto her. But relistening to them recently they just really aren't that good.
I do appreciate that she attempts to rewrite the lyrics to flow better but it's still so awkward, you just can't translate music.

I don't think I've ever seen any real hate for AmaLee. She's been around for ages and unlike the vast majority of big indies, I've never seen any heat on her which isn't even true of the others that were big from outside vtubing and always come with either some sex scandal or got to the top by exploiting people.

The only thing I didn't like is sometimes I'd be trying to look for a song on YouTube and her cover would come up first. But these days they've started putting the songs up there legally so I guess it's not so much of a problem anymore. But back in the day it was just her all the time.
