But I guess I’m mainly just wondering, when it comes to streamers and Vtubers, why people are still so shocked and surprised when these streamers actually have personal lives.
I think people ought to temper their expectations before they get involved in these forms of media, as to not dig themselves in too deep. That’s why I brought up the whole “simp” fiasco. I thought people would have learnt their lessons by now. But I guess not. It will probably just go on like this til the end of time
Not saying I’m above it thought. I’ve never donated to any streamers, but I’m probably as likely as anyone else to fall into the mindset, especially when there is seemingly a “sunk cost”
