I vaguely remember her mentioning in the past that she didn't like the smell/taste which is why she doesn't drink.

She was even skeptical about clams steamed in sake and was surprised that she liked them.

She's the type to not eat vegetables so yeah, probably had a taste in the past and decided too firmly that it wasn't her thing.
