Houshou Marine is a living legend in the vtubing scene. We're blessed to live in an age where we get to experience her live, and not in museums dedicated to her life like future generations will.

I like marine but all she is is a good vtuber. She's not museum worthy because she didn't really progress or change the scene any. She's just an extremely high quality vtuber who maintains the status quo

I very much agree. Marine and korone are the absolute peak of this golden age of vtubing. Perhaps Pekora to, but I don't like her much. Oh yes and miko. Miko is there too. Absolutely iconic, classic chubas.

I think the big groups might be worth noting down as a whole and maybe mentioning the members but they're more footnotes of "and then this group was popular between X and Y"

While hololive is big and all, it's mostly aping off mito who popularized streaming and l2d avatars, which is a more momentous shift in vtubing than hololive just inspiring small corpos to fuck up.
