She most likely did though. She had to have thought she had a good chance to get in too. But they saw her english language abilities and roped her into the vsinger gig promising they would pay for all her songs and that she would stand out better in EN than JP anyway. But I mostly blame management for the fact they didn't bother getting her 3d with the myth girls so she could start performing sooner instead of being delayed another year for no reason.

Personally I don't know what she's unhappy about, it's only been a year since she debuted and she almost has 1mil subs. That is way better than most of the JP gens except a tiny minority of the hyper popular ones.

The biggest think I am confused about considering her sub count is how little the company tries to push her products and music considering they're an "idol" company. She's had the same model since debut while most other members of both branches usually get at least 1 new versions by the mid-point of the year. Otherwise I feel like she's doing well considering she's a Vsinger (idol) which is not something the west is super into anyways.

I think what Irys is starting to understand is what having EOPs as an audience means. The culture is different. They might not even be aware of Hololive's non-English-speaking members, or even care that they exist. Towa might as well have been a space alien in the Overwatch collab.

Yes the jp branch is objetevely superior. It's not even remotely close. For this reason kiara is the only watchable EN, she streams like the jp holos (I hear irys is good too but I've never watched so idk. Would make sense since she's a nip)
