If the VR satisfies my previous conditions it'd be a no-brainer for them and their friends and relatives to join me. But if there were a limited number of people who could join me I'd probably delay entering VR for as long as possible, assuming it was the mind transfer type.
Under certain conditions it'd be almost exactly like an isekai, and those often have protagonists who have little regrets for obvious reasons...
