I don't really watch Koyori at all, but other than that I enjoy all of them. Lui is quickly becoming my favorite lately. Iroha was my favorite at first, but for some reason collabs with her always feel too weird, like she's trying too hard to act natural and be liked, it's off putting. Super comfy solo zatsu, though.
Laplus is a blast to watch, whenever I catch her I have a great time, but didn't resonate as strongly with her as I did with Lui. Probably helps that my oshi really likes Lui.
Chloe I don't ever watch regular streams, except for that one potion game stream that looked interesting and I ended up watching a lot, but I really like her music stuff a lot, so I'd still rate her positively based on that.
Koyori is really the only one I never engage with. Don't dislike her either, just never felt like watching.

Extremely exceptional gen, like the 2nd coming of Sansikei and Yonsikei (with Coco).

They are the only gen i'm fully subbed to each one of them have qualities I find good enough to keep watching them during streams. It feels like a fever dream they're even in and the bar they've set is I fear too high for whatever Holo 7 will be.

I never liked Chloe after she took off the mask and have mostly avoided her since.

I loved Lui at first until she outed herself as a Mori simp and now I tend to avoid her a little but she is still good on her own or with JP's, I just respect her a lot less.

Laplus isn't necessarily for me but I respect her, she had some issues at first and those annoyed me but she seemed to improve.

I respect Koyori's work ethic and enjoy her when I see her.

I like Iroha a lot as a person, but a lot of the things she streams don't interest me much unfortunately.

I always get concerned one of them is going to get a complex about being the weakest link of the five as seems to happen in most gens but I honestly have no idea who would be in that role since they excel at different metrics and their differences are negligible in others.

Lui's been my personal favorite out of the bunch. Great singing, my kind of humor, and EOP pandering that's more than just "haha I study the English on duo lingo for a stream".

I thought they debuted way too soon and all the tourists propping Chloe up as the next Gura didn't help with my opinion of them. Design wise, I thought they were pretty generic, especially with Koyori and Iroha.

Looking back, I was a bit biased due to how lackluster Council was, but La+ and Lui really grew on me with how quickly they integrated with their JP senpais. I respect Koyo's work ethic, showing that she's willing to put in the work. I haven't watched much of Iroha - still feels pretty generic to me and not a fan of the design nor the samurai schtick. With the debut buff over, I'm pretty indifferent about Chloe, she's not really doing anything of interest to me.

Overall really strong gen

Chloe - fine, no real downsides, good singer, going into mainstream
Lui - saddly the least successful but she's a great chuuba even despite initial struggles and a bad debut, I wish her the best
Laplus - GMI if she hasn't already, very unique
Koyori - energetic hag, exactly what I love
Iroha - I'm sad to say that she's just boring and somewhat fake, but apparently she's doing somewhat better than Lui in the short way
Overall gem chemistry is hard for me to say because I don't watch all of them, but they seem to be just fine. There's some potential. I doubt we'll ever reach gen5 levels of unity but it's not impossible.
Overall I'd say it's ~8/10. I got a favourite, I got one I really enjoy, two good entertainers and only one which isn't hopeless but needs some real work.

Chloe: Very cute and funny, excellent singer, like her a lot. Only downside is that I wish she had kept on the mask more, I would rather her "real face" be relegated to rare occasions making it extra special when she does show it, but it's more the other way around.

Lui: Easily the best in the gen. Amazing charisma, wonderful voice, and has been a massive bridge between EN and JP. She's the new Coco, and she's done a great job with it.

Laplus: She's alright. Does a fair job with the kusogaki character type. I just don't feel like there's a ton setting her apart from someone like Shion.

Koyori: Under the radar but she's pretty good from what I've seen. Doesn't seem to get clipped much.

Iroha: Very cute, love her voice and her 'Gozaru' hasn't gotten as grating as I might have expected. Definitely enjoy her presence.

Overall? Pretty fucking good. Lui is easily the biggest addition, but they're all pretty damn good. Very strong gen, definitely one of the better ones in JP.

I love Koyo, she feels like a long time fan that's trying her hardest to prove that they chose right and she's really happy to get to work with the holos. She's been keeping up her radio show and improving it over time, has a lot of variety of content, trying to improve on her singing, it really feels like she's taking this very seriously and it makes you want to support her.
She also yells a lot, which is a plus for me.

Everyone really likes Lui. And I told people this when they started freaking out over how far behind the rest of her gen she was in subs. Lui's specialty is not being completely autistic and having good social skills which is a rarity in Hololive. She was always going to blossom when she got more chances to interact with the rest of the agency.

Chloe is probably the only popular vtuber who I cannot stand at all. From the moment she started speaking I wanted to die and it only went downhill from there. Luckily I was able to forget she exists until now.
Laplus is hilarious, Lui is cool, Iroha is pleasant, and I hear good things about Koyori. In total it's a pretty good generation, but I didn't care for any of them enough to actually catch their streams after a month.
