This is an early prediction, but what do you guys think Kiara’s MC will get? The last time she played was back in January where she peaked at 5.7k, but this was kind of in a down period for her in particular. I don’t have the numbers to say she’s inclined, but she’s definitely brought back an audience to come watch her do stuff (every portal stream hitting 8k, windwaker hitting almost 6k) and MC’s been pretty good for holos as of late.

7k seem pretty reasonable here? Maybe more perhaps?

Yeah, turns out there really isn't much announcement being made (HoloX 3D might get announced tomorrow though in the official channel) and despite the long GW period this year (up to 10 days) everyone been doing their usual routine. The only thing announced was the Golden Game Week which is a shill stream in disguise for Taiko, and aside from some solo practice stream here and there it's just not generating that much hype, the storyline doesn't exist for this event.

Since CCVID is still going strong, I calculated a better metric for comparing vtubers, view/second.
Only streams with 20+ minutes duration are counted and a month must has at least 5 streams.
Surprisingly, Marine came out on top because her 1 hour streams all did very well usually get 300k+.
Gura of course, is in another universe compared to other ENs

Total views is a better metric than these weird ratio-based measurements.
There's a time and a place for them, but Total views (no shorts/songs) is a better metric than these.
If you stream a bunch, like Koyori, you can still rack up the views even if the VODs on a single stream are mediocre because each stream is getting a good chunk of views when it's live.
If you're like Marine (Extreme) or Gura (less Extreme) who have good VOD growth for one reason or another, your Total views still reflect it.

Obviously that one has more credibility to its case, but they’re both flawed metrics that don’t tell the whole story

If you really want a metric tailor made for streamers that get a high VOD views but don't stream long or often enough for it to compare to the frequent streamers, but that also stream too often to get a rarity buff just make a metric

Maybe not the 4+ day ones obviously but those 2-3 days off after a full schedule, because Gura’s at her best when she has things to talk about and those days give her things to do that do just that. You reduce that to just "effort" but it is a measure of interest. Grinders get rewarded for their effort, as they should, but time absolutely matters and things need to be put in perspective. One of the reasons i dislike twitch thots getting massive watch time numbers while sleeping on stream is because that metric doesn't put any time perspective or context in it. Just taking all VOD views and summing them up with no context isn't much better.

I think it's a niche thing. Roberu is an excellent talker and host. Not to say Oga isn't but just not quite up there as Roberu. Meanwhile Astel gained most of his incline doing apex I think and retained a bunch who liked him for being male rushia essentially.
Oga is really fun and has a great voice. I think he needs to latch onto a specific niche idea and run it into the ground until it succeeds or if fails do it on another niche.

It didn't seem like Vox was going to reach 10k even without Mysta overlap, he's been skirting the 10k line with his previous minecraft streams anyways. The moment Mysta started, 10k was out of the question, but I didn't expect Vox to lose 2k to him.
That's Bae-level of bleeding.

NijiEN minecraft has been a buff for all of them since they started their own server, at least compared to when it was just the girls (Pomu gets 3k now on MC instead of 1.5k months ago), but it's still nowhere near as big of a buff as it is for Holos.

Mysta getting 15k while overlapping Vox is pretty impressive, but it is a single-POV collab with Shoto's viewers funneled in too.

This is most of Luxiem honestly. Their best daily numbers are around the same as Council's best daily numbers, but their ceilings for events is much higher right now.
