>>23542437>This is actually very concerning. It isn't concerning in the slightest. This isn't only expected, but welcomed. Grifters and those just seeking novelties have left and people with an actual interest remain. Vtubing has established itself, it isn't going anywhere, and though future growth might be slow the trickle of new fans will from now on be people who are adjacent to everything weeb and have a relation to the culture. The future is genuinely great.
Netflix? Netflix and streaming services are failing because they have proven themselves to be subjected to two whammies - the first being that effectively all Western media is a vehicle for political propaganda, and the second that shows are scattered across services. The latter defeats the purpose of streaming (availability). Zoomers may even grasp that physical media is the only alternative and not just an alternative but a standard to adhere to. This streaming situation has nothing to do with vtubing however. Vtubing actually does deliver content you want to see and there's no "restrictions" meaning you can watch whichever girl and/or company you want with ease.
Finally, this is the showcase of the American disease where perpetual growth is somehow inexplicably a goal and a measure of worth in and of itself, which baffles me. It literally doesn't matter because as previously mentioned the actual fanbase is here and watching, and whoever comes to join us will do so out of actual interest and not because some anituber grifter or internet e-celeb bullshitted out a video on his channel or whatever.
