Just check that Holocaust video linked above, EVERYONE was shitting on Cover for this, and back then hating on Cover for their decisions was very common. They built up their reputation over several decisions.
1. Kaoru was an unfortunate case, which was accepted by the talents (and no one caring much for the homos).
2. Aloe never badmouthed them and insisted that they tried to help her multiple times.
3. They explicitly admitted that they mishandled the Taiwan yab and Yagoo took a pay cut and a public tongue lashing for it (not often seen from Japanese companies) which did a lot for fan goodwill.
4. Coco herself ran PR for them in the leadup to her graduation (that was probably the one event which could have ended Cover for good if they mishandled it).
5. Rushia could have been bad if the talents weren't united about the decision (lending credence to the rrat that she did something VERY bad behind the scenes). Mori almost fucked it up, leading to the EOP being split about her termination.
Meanwhile Anycolor -
1. Gibara graduates to "greener pastures" but just goes back into streaming.
2. Lulu graduates because they didn't let her fucking stream in order to build an ego trip court case.
3. Their handling of the entire Meiro debacle.
4. Roa is STILL MIA running her court case and losing fans and mindshare with every passing month.
5. Everything about NijiIN and NijiKR.
Ibrahim's video editing fuckup which he blasted them for because he knew he would get flamed if he didn't say anything about it.
6. Melissa's open dissatisfaction with management.
There's probably a lot more on the list (Moruru for example) but fans can see the pattern. Even on the Nijisanji thread in /jp/ they shit on Anycolor for a lot of their decisions (just like we used to for Cover).
