Holo girls have defined strengths and weaknesses in their solo streams which get combined during collabs, becoming increasingly diluted as more participants join in. This is why large collabs always end up being above-average but not very noteworthy, whereas one-on-one collabs end up having the most weight and impact to them when considering "chemistry" nor noteworthy events.
This is also why some hololive girls are simply incompatible with each other despite being friends, as their streaming strengths and weaknesses in their solo streams don't balance each other well during collabs.
