she was really the first corpo who spoke fluent english despite being in a dying ID branch
was never really that big until her dad came on during a Half Life 1 stream and proved he was way more entertaining than she was so she kept having him on occasionally during HL1 or Doom or whatever retro game she played that he could commentate on
so she did a couple 'late night' streams (now privated) where she basically talked about her sexual preferences and actually said swear words which attracted some more people
but it still wasn't enough and she had dear ol' dad come on stream again where he ran his mouth a little too much talking about his political beliefs in communism, voting for bernie, and the fact that he's 'pansexual' which very obviously didn't fly with Niji staff
after that he never came on stream again
then things got worse when Holo EN debuted and twitch tubers started blowing up since more of them had L2Ds instead of shitty vroids or pngs, she was no longer one of the only english speaking vtubers actually on youtube
I think not getting membership until...2021? didn't help either even though she debuted in 2019
looking at her channel now her membership content is mostly coomer bait like Ring Fit and ASMR all with suggestive thumbnails
