The whole medium is just so thoroughly mediocre, with a few exceptional vtubers here and there/
Even on a lot of "good" streams, i find myself at the end of them feeling like i just edged for an hour yknow, like the whole stream was SO CLOSE to actually being a good entertainment product but its NOT, they just can't be consistently good.
Reminds me of an old youtube series called "Sugar Pine 7" i watched some years ago.
I watched so much of that series waiting for it to get good, because i could tell that if it ever got good, it would be hands down some of the best content on youtube. But (for me), it just never got there
